However, students who have entered a university of physical education and sport science with the aim of becoming a physical education teacher or sports coach may think that “onomatopoeia is childish.” Therefore, in this study, the author examined a method for making students who aim to become physical education teacher or sports coach understand the effects of onomatopoeia. The author predicted that after the students understand the structure of skills, they can understand the effects of onomatopoeia by learning the onomatopoeia of the skill. Therefore, two lessons are used in this analysis. That is, “a class that do not utilize onomatopoeia” and “a class that utilize onomatopoeia” were developed. So, the author inferred the understanding of students in the effects of onomatopoeia from the changes in the students after class. In addition, the lesson of apparatus gymnastics was targeted. And the event was front walkover.
