To this end, we considered the responses of a university and a handball team in relation to the pandemic’s status. The results revealed the following. Achievements: (1) Although handball is a sport that could carry a high risk of infection, it was possible to carry out team activities without anyone getting infected. (2) The team was successful in using social media to keep people updated regarding team activities. Challenges: (1) There was a notable incidence of knee injuries; thus, understanding athletes’ degree of fatigue and providing them with training to prevent lower limb injuries is required.
