This study employed specially designed questionnaire which were consisted of general demographics, favorite sports, and items of attendance behavior. Samples were gathered from real attendance of Japan Professional Baseball League, Japan Professional Football League, and Japan Women's Basketball League. Multivariate statistical procedure such as quantification method third-type, and adequate statistical test were applied. The following results were obtained. 1. Efficient market segments of spectator sports which were baseball oriented “P-type”, soccer oriented “J-type”, and basketball oriented “W-type”were identified. 2.
