Ce mouvement a en fait été lancépar l'état,qui voulait realiser une réforme culturelle au sein de son pays. Les bases de cette réforme ont été établies dans les années 80, mais c'est dans les années 90, grace au gouvernement socialiste de François Mitterrand que ce mouvement a pris un élan, pour devenir un courant culturel. J'ai basée mes recherches sur l'étude de la naissance de la “danse contemporaine”, comme problematique dans l'histoire de la danse du 20ème sciècle, puis comme une réforme culturelle. Et enfin sur la question : qu'est ce que “la danse contemporaine”de nos jours. J'ai puisé mes informations principalement dans les documents issus de“politique culturelle et réforme de la danse”.
