The author has been teaching physical education with the aim of shaping the body, improving movement and building health, and achieving these aims has included physical stretching and training exercises, exercises with various types of equipment, and rhythm exercises. The purpose of this research is to review the characteristics of physical exercises through those exercises university students have learned in physical exercise class, to clarify the significance of body relaxing exercises, and to present data that will be useful in teaching physical exercises in the future. The results of research using the questionnaire method are as follows: 1) Interest in physical exercise increased significantly (p<0.05)when compared to before the physical exercise class began. In addition, the students have become significantly more aware of changes in their bodies (p<0.001)since the class began. 2) Students were able to feel a sense of unity of body and mind when doing the physical exercises. 3) Body disentangle helped the students feel comfortable, in addition to developing exercises for shaping the body and improving movement.
