| 内容記述 | 本研究の目的は，ジャズダンスの魅力の構成概念を因子分析により抽出し，その認識の特徴を調査対象者の属性別に比較し検討することであった．本研究用に作成したジャズダンスの魅力を説明する項目を用いて，大学でダンスを学ぶ学生348名を対象に調査を実施し，その中のジャズダンスを専門とする学生95名のデータに基づいて因子分析を行った．その結果，「社会性」「表現の幅広さ」および「自己発見」と解釈することができ，構成概念妥当性を満たしているといえる３因子が抽出された． 次に，学生の属性別に魅力因子に対する認識の違いを検討した．その結果，ジャズダンスの経験年数や大学における所属学年の違いでは，認識の差は認められなかった．しかし，踊りの振付の情報収集の仕方の違いや目標とするダンサーがいるかどうかの違い，またジャズダンスを専門としない学生との間の比較では，「表現の幅広さ」や「自分発見」の認識において属性間の違いが認められた．その理由としては，ジャズダンスに対する動機づけの違いなどが考えられた． 本研究により抽出されたジャズダンスの３つの魅力は，動機づけの理論に基づけば，ジャズダンスに取り組むという行動の始発において必要となる誘因価と捉えることができる．これらは，ジャズダンスの指導の在り方を考える上で，有用な視点になると期待できる． |

| 内容記述 | The purpose of this study was to extract constructive concepts of the attractiveness of jazz dance by factor analysis and to compare and investigate how the survey participants recognized it in relation to their attributes. We surveyed 348 students who learned dance at university, using explanation items of the attractiveness of jazz dance prepared for this study. Factor analysis of the data of 95 students who majored in jazz dance extracted and interpreted three factors as pertinent to the attractiveness of jazz dance—sociality, breadth of expression, and self－discovery—which were considered to have validity for the constructive concept. We examined gaps in perception of the attractiveness factors in relation to the students’ attributes. We found no significant gap related to years of experience in jazz dance or academic year at university, but we found a gap in breadth of expression and self－discovery related to methods of collecting information on choreography or whether students had a dancer as a model or not ; and in comparison with students who did not major in jazz dance. The reason could be a difference in motivation for jazz dance. Based on the theory of motivation, the three factors extracted can be interpreted as valence that is necessary at the beginning of the behavior of engaging in jazz dance. We expect that the three factors offer a useful perspective for considering teaching contents and means in instructing jazz dance. |
