| 内容記述 | バレエを中心とする西欧の舞踊芸術は，言葉を用いず身体を通じて表現を行う芸術である．このため，舞踊芸術における言葉の重要性は見逃されがちである．しかし，人間は言葉を操りその知的活動を展開するものであり，舞踊の創作においても，振付家により発される言葉によって，身体の動き一つ一つに質感と意味が与えられ，そして作品の意図が明確化されてゆく． 振付家ジリ・キリアンは，次世代の振付家に是非伝えたいことの一つとして，舞踊創作にあたって振付の動き一つ一つを明確に言葉で表すことの重要性をあげている． 舞踊とは燃え盛る炎のように常に変化し続けるものである．しかしキリアンは，言葉という道具を使って舞踊に枠組みを与え固定化する．見方を変えれば，キリアンは舞踊に理性という枷を嵌め，神秘的なベールを剥ぎ取っているともいえるだろう．言葉というフィルターを介すことで，舞踊は多くのものを失うといえるが，言葉の洗礼を受けてスケルトンにまで削ぎ落とされた舞踊作品は，逆に舞踊の本質を豊かに宿す可能性を呈示する構造物になるとも考えられる． 本論は，キリアンの代表作『Bella Figura』のオリジナルキャストである筆者が，『Bella Figura』のクリエーションにおけるキリアンの言葉がけを具体例として，キリアンと言葉の関係を論じるものである． |

| 内容記述 | The western theatrical dance, mainly ballet, is an art form which expresses itself through the body movements without using words. Therefore, the importance of words in the art of dance is often underestimated. However, mankind has developed their intellectual activities by verbalizing our thoughts. Even in the creation process of dance, the words uttered by the choreographer give quality and meaning to each body movement, and clarify the intention of the work. Choreographer Jiří Kylián points out the importance of expressing each movement in words in the creation of dance. He says it is one of the knowledges that he wishes to hand down to the next generation choreographers. Dance is like a blazing flame. It changes its form constantly. However, Kylián uses words as a tool to give dance a clear frame and to solidify it. In other words, he tears off the mysterious veil from dance by putting the rational shackles on it. When we filter the dance with words, some important elements of dancing might be vanished. However, a dance work which has been stripped down to the skeleton by the purification of words, may also become a structure that shows potential to enrich the essence of dance. This thesis is written by an original cast member of “Bella Figura” to discuss the relationship between Kylián and his use of words through the creation of “Bella Figura”, which is one of the most beloved master pieces of Jiří Kylián. |
